Red Dot Sight (RDS)

Service Description

In the last 15 years, Miniaturized Red Dot Sights (MRDS) have evolved to become as commonplace on a pistol as a weapon light. As with any significant change to weapon operations, this advancement brings a shift in training and a learning curve. This course is designed to bridge the gap from iron sighted pistols to those equipped with MRDS's. With minimal classroom time, the emphasis of this course is to get you comfortable operating your optic equipped pistol. Topics will include zeroing, dot acquisition, optic obstruction/malfunction, target transitions, and general technique. This is a range intensive course to maximize your time training with your optic. Course is restricted to students who possesses a current South Dakota Enhanced Concealed Carry Permit.
